Bill Jessop

William (Bill) Jessop was born in Victoria, British Columbia and raised in Surrey. He has spent most of his life in the lower mainland of British Columbia and considers Vancouver to be home. After graduating high school Bill returned to Victoria and obtained his bachelor of arts “with distinction” from the University of Victoria. Following his undergraduate degree, Bill returned to the workforce and operated a small business. He appreciates the value of hard work and his extensive employment experience has produced a strong work ethic which he applies to the practice of law. Bill moved to Edmonton, Alberta to complete his law degree and graduated from the University of Alberta.

After law school, Bill articled and worked for a prominent criminal defence firm in Surrey. He gained valuable experience and insight from a collection of lawyers all with various areas of expertise. In October 2017 Bill branched out on his own and started his own law firm; William E. Jessop, Law Corporation. He continues to operate this firm today and has a strong working relationship with many other criminal defence lawyers in the province.
